Policies & Conditions

 

  • Check-in: Is available from 2pm on the day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement.
  • Check-out: Is 10am on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement. If you require a late check-out, a minimum fee of $30 per hour or part thereof is payable until midday, thereafter a full days tariff is payable.
  • Keys: Please return your key/s to reception on departure. Lost or damaged keys cost NZ$40 and will be charged to your account.
  • Cancellation/refund policy: Cancellations up to seven days before the booked date incur no fee. Thereafter the deposit may be retained. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charged. Special conditions apply to Group quotations/reservations and special events.
  • Credit Card guarantees: On line reservatons require authorisation of a credit card deposit/withdrawal. No charge will be made against the card details unless the client fails to arrive for the booked accommodation. Cancellations up to seven days before the booked date incur no fee. After this time a charge may be incurred (see cancellation/refund policy).
  • Changes in reservation term: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to relet the booked accommodation.
  • Smoking: As this is a smoke free complex, please smoke outside away from open windows, doors and other guests, especially children. Please place cigarette butts in the Terracotta pots provided outside each unit. In the event of someone having smoked in the room, accommodation will be terminated immediately without reimbursement of room payment. We reserve the right to charge cleaning cost of NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
  • Strong Smelling Food: The cooking of strong smelling food is not permitted in our units in order to avoid lingering odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. In the event of strong smelling food odours in the unit, we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of up to NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.

  • General: Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest.

  • Overdue Accounts: All accounts are payable on departure. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by due date.
